We have modified the size of our garlic marker-planter's prong. The now diameter of 1.3'' corresponds to the size of each cell from a multi-cell tray: ideal for transplanting seedlings of  beets, beans, corn, etc. This will help you save several days and insure a better germination rate in the garden. Maude Hélène from Les Jardins de la Grelinette, uses this tool with satisfaction. For better results, soil has to be worked 4" deep and leveled.  You can  easily seed 1,000 to 1,200 seedlings in an hour.
